Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel.  Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind).  So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me?  Pantser?  I think?  But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid.  And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly.  And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

I am so sorry that I have been completely and utterly MIA.
I feel like a bad deviant. Lol. I just have been sick.
I had to go to the ER for my gallbladder & personal stuff.

With all that happenning this past week.
I got a bad head cold (no idea how)?
& I somehow threw my back out lifting my nephew.
I think it's because I have large boobs,
& then lifting a 32lbs child just did it.
Then it was pretty much healed & I slipped & fell!  
(I am a have a super clumsy person. I trip over air, I swear!)

Oi. Just been such a busy week, & what not.
Then tonight I was fixing my hair & sliced my finger wide open.
(With the shears. How? I have no idea!)

Blood + hair + a playful kitty = disaster!
Ugh. So much going on.

Got stuff going on with work,
which is moving slowly & I understand.
Other stuff going on with my fiance!

It's so hectic & I feel like breaking down.
But -le'sigh- I can not!
I must muster up allllll my strength,
keep my head held up, & push on.
It will get better, it's been worse.

I can do this.
I know I can.

I'm just really stressed & having some bad down moments..
(thank you hereditary bi-polar disorder)
(Ohhh how I hate you--no make that LOATHE you)

Haha. Alright, well enough rambling from me.
I just want to let you all know who watch
& support me I have not forgotten about your lovely faces!
